The Leadership Challenge Forum 2008: The Program

The Leadership Forum 2008 program will....
  • Highlight peer-to-peer knowledge sharing, best practices in leadership development, and practical, hands-on learning tools
  • Explain ways to move from leadership events to on-going development and performance support
  • Connect leadership development to strategic business results
  • Introduce new, innovative products and services
  • Present inventive ways to maintain leadership development initiatives during lean times

A POWERFUL EXPERT PANEL
A cross-sector discussion exploring the reality of leadership development in our unique work settings. Panelists from corporate, higher education, executive education, healthcare and government backgrounds will compare their observations and experiences with time for audience question and answer afterward.

NEW PRODUCT PRESENTATIONS
Representatives from Jossey-Bass and Pfeiffer will present and discuss the latest product developments. The Leadership Challenge Affiliates will be on hand to answer questions about products and services. The Leadership Challenge Affiliate, Fine Points Professionals, will host a "Getting Your New Program Off the Ground" bootcamp session.

PRACTICAL ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION
This will be your opportunity to benefit from the collective wisdom and experience on hand at the forum. Small peer groups will convene to discuss shared questions and issues pertinent to their work. Initial roundtable topics will be generated from feedback provided in attendees' registration materials. Later topics will be flexible to accommodate new suggestions or priorities that arise during the course of the event.
